Another week behind us as this “upside down” NFL season continues to make headlines. Week 2 provided us with more FitzMagic, a Brady beat down, and yet another tie. Included in the chaos, lies the AFC North, and this weeks updated power rankings.

The AFC saw some setbacks in their second week of action. As the season grows, these four teams will continue to make noise, as they try to revamp a depleting division.

4. Cleveland Browns

I have the Browns ranked last this week mainly because they had every opportunity to take their first win in almost 2 years. The Browns led 12-3 heading into the fourth quarter. I feel terrible for Zane Gonzalez (2/4 FG, 0/2 XP), both the Brown’s kicker…and this poor guy also named Zane Gonzalez.

Even though Tyrod Taylor had a better game this time around (246 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT), the “Cleveland Curse” still haunts this unfortunate franchise. A Thursday Night match up against the Jets might be the perfect chance for a turnaround. Will the Browns decide to set the table for an epic rookie battle between Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield?

3. Pittsburgh Steelers

I have the Steelers in 3rd place thanks to Big Ben Roethlisberger. After a shaky start to the season, Ben came to play in front of his home crowd, throwing 60 passes, for 452 yards, and three touchdowns. Oh, and he ran for one, yes you read that right. Jesse James and Juju Smith-Schuster found a rhythm as well, combining for over 250 yards and 2 TDs. The biggest problem with the team lies in their defense, allowing 127 yards on the ground and six touchdowns from Patrick Mahomes.

Aside from the drama this franchise seem’s to constantly find themselves involved in (looking at you AB), Pittsburgh is not where they want to be. Looking ahead, a road trip to face the surging Buccaneers on Monday night may just be the biggest game of the season for the Steelers.
