The 2019 NFL Draft is no where close, but it’s never too early to check out what all 32 NFL teams are looking towards.

Note: Draft order is based on Bleacher Report’s Consensus Power Rankings

1. Buffalo Bills: Ed Oliver, DT Houston

The Bills think they have their franchise quarterback, and they need an infusion of talent. That leaves them poised to take the best player available. The consensus top player among experts heading into this season didn’t rack up a ton of stats last weekend.

That’s due to team’s habit of scheming around him. He is definitely athletic enough to be the number one overall pick. There is film of him running with halfbacks to the edge. His most impressive trait, however, is his explosion off the line.

His acceleration on the snap is off the charts allowing him to bust through the offensive line and into the backfield with ease. Often the offensive lineman charged with blocking him doesn’t have a chance to even make contact.

2. Arizona Cardinals: Jonah Williams, LT Alabama

The Cardinals are another team who hopes they drafted their franchise quarterback in 2018. Now the most important thing is protecting him. Williams is a guy that teams will look at as a cornerstone left tackle. He has very quick feet for a man his size and is very athletic. He is athletic enough to pull on run plays frequently at Alabama, displaying speed and agility that is not common for a three hundred pound man.

From the film I watched I think his footwork while pass blocking could be cleaned up a little bit but he should figure that out with more coaching. Arizona gets a powerful run blocking left tackle who has plenty of room to develop and is well on his way to becoming a top pass blocker as well.
