Coaches

The entire coaching staff for the Bucs have been placed on notice after a 5-11 season last year which is why their fast start has been important. HC Koetter has a talented team and has managed to stay above the fray caused by his starting QB being suspended for unsavory behavior. Nevertheless, it didn’t break the locker room nor heap a lot of turmoil on the coaches head.

DC Smith has the horses in the middle now to apply pressure with bookends pass rushers playing lights out so far. They are a good staff and have weathered some storms, but their backs are against the wall. They have performed on the season to this point.

Tomlin and company have circled the wagons internally as they to find themselves in a pressure cooker. The media storm would have had most staffs faltering but Tomlin and company have stayed the course.

They know how to win, they have done a lot of it in the past and will do more in the future. It is fortunate that they have a track record of success, unlike the Bucs coaches who have a fanbase that would gladly switch places with Steeler fans.
