The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a significant Week 3 matchup on Monday night. Here’s how to watch.

The Steelers never expected to be here. 0-1-1 heading into a Monday night matchup with the red hot Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Facing Ryan Fitzpatrick and an offense that has been nothing shy of electric, Pittsburgh is hoping their defense finally shows up in Week 3.

For Pittsburgh, this is not the start they wanted. This team was finally over the hump, only to discover they’re even further from their Super Bowl hopes than they thought. Now, they’re fighting to figure out their issues before they fall too far behind the pack.

With Le’Veon Bell on the trading block, James Conner will have all eyes on his backfield. Yes, his. The future is now, and Conner has earned the right to take over the running back duties. But with Bell’s future looking elsewhere, the pressure is increasing for the second-year back.

Ben Roethlisberger will also need to answer some questions, tonight. His road performance in Cleveland proved, once again, that he isn’t strong away from home. But he can’t win a Super Bowl in Pittsburgh. Meaning he can’t suffer as much as he has in the past.

For Tampa Bay, they’ll be relying on their high-flying pass offense to lead them to victory. Ryan Fitzpatrick has taken the 2018 season by storm. Now, he’s the Bucs’ starting quarterback until further notice.

This will be a matchup the Steelers are hoping to win. Their secondary is questionable, especially deep. They’ll need to find a way to shut down players like Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson.

Week 3 is a game the Steelers need to win. Falling to 0-2-1 isn’t a start that’ll make this season easy. They’re fighting from the bottom up, and they need to change that atmosphere, now.
