AFC North Power Rankings: Baltimore Ravens fly high
By Alex Fasano
T-3 Pittsburgh Steelers (1 – 1 – 1)
This team really loves to keep it’s fans on their toes. Beating the Buccaneers on primetime, 30-27 for their first win of the season, was the only option for this struggling franchise. Big Ben continued to shine, going 30 for 38, 353 yards, there touchdowns, and one pick.
Antonio Brown was all smiles with his six catches for 50 yards and a score, but it was a young JuJu Smith-Schuster leading the team in yards for the second time this season with 116. The biggest takeaway has to be this unpredictable Steelers defense. Picking off FitzMagic three times and forcing a fumble as well.
Pittsburgh scored 30 points early, but never saw the end zone again. If they want any chance to succeed this year, the team has to be balanced. High scoring and a time managing offense with a consistent and tough defense. The whole secondary was gassed by the end of the 3rd quarter, and with Baltimore on the horizon, the need to start conditioning.
