The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens bring tons of talent to Sunday night football, and using it wisely can help your fantasy team.

One of the biggest Steelers rivalry games is here. The Steelers vs the Ravens is always a close affair and 6 of the last 7 games have been decided by 7 points or less. In that span, the home team has won 5 of 7 contests so the Steelers are favored to win. We will have the chance to watch this match up Sunday night and if you are like me you are wondering who you should start for the Ravens. I will give my recommendations on who to start and who to sit.

Start

No one.

I don’t like anyone on the Ravens squad to score more than 15 fantasy points.

John Brown – I will suggest starting Brown as a WR 3 with upside if he can get open deep and score a TD but only if you start 3 WR’s

Michael Crabtree – The Steelers DB’s have not been great and Crabtree could be a decent play as a WR 3 or flex if you have no one else.

Sit

Joe Flacco – If you are forced to start Flacco you are in a deep league or your QB’s are injured. I would look for a better option even though on paper it looks like a good match up. It’s a trap.

Alex Collins – His season has not started off the way most thought and he has struggled with a 3.46 yards per carry average.

Raven’s TE’s – Joe Flacco has targeted all three of his healthy TE’s (Maxx Williams, Nick Boyle and Mark Andrews) and none of them are startable. If Hayden Hurst plays he may be a long long shot but I would not recommend it. He looked good in the preseason and maybe he consolidates those targets?

Raven Defense – Usually a stout unit, Baltimore had a bad game away from M & T Bank Stadium and surrendered 4 TD’s passes to average Andy Dalton. What do you think Big Ben will do at home?

Steelers Defense – The last time we saw the Steelers at home they were torched for 6 touchdown passes and over 300 passing yards. I don’t think the Steelers D is that bad and plus the mediocre Joe Flacco is in town but I would not suggest starting them.

Next. It's time to be honest about Mike Tomlin. dark

This game will not be the gun-slinging game that we saw last week. The Ravens and Steelers contests are more for the football fan and not the fantasy fan. I guarantee you will see some heavy hitting and some fierce competition. This is always a game to remember all year so get ready for a hell of a good time.
