David DeCastro & Marcus Gilbert

The two-time All-Pro guard injured his hand in the season opener against the Browns and has missed every game since. According to the Steelers injury report, DeCastro said he’s “feeling really good” and thinks he’s “turning the corner”. Marcus Gilbert, who’s nursing a hamstring injury, missed the Buccaneers game and has the potential to return against Baltimore. Gilbert really wants to play as much as possible this season.

Ben Roethlisberger has been sacked nine times in three games. B.J. Finney and Matt Feiler stepped up in DeCastro and Gilbert’s absence, but the team had 13 penalties for 155 yards. After week 3, the Steelers have 37 penalties, the most in the NFL. Pittsburgh has a tough opponent in Baltimore this upcoming week, so discipline is a necessity heading into practice.
