Bud Dupree

The man responsible for Pittsburgh’s first pick-6 of the season, and his career. Bud Dupree reminded everyone that he can still make an impact on the field. He ended with three total tackles, a sack, and an interception for a score. Like fellow linebacker Jon Bostic, Dupree has struggled to fill the void of Shazier. The defense lacks the speed that Shazier brings to the game.

The fourth season linebacker from Kentucky has been an impact player for this team since his draft day. However, the defense has never shown the same promise of their Super Bowl winning squad from 2008. Dupree’s career stats are nothing to write home about; 16.5 sacks, 75 total tackles, and only one interception, the pick-6 against the Bucs. Bud controls his own destiny and looks at Sunday night to prove to the front office that he deserves to be here.
