Sean Davis – Stock: Up
Sean Davis was a very inconsistent and up and down player in 2017. I believe this was largely due to him being asked to play strong safety as opposed to free safety, where he now plays in 2018.
Davis was a bad tackler in 2017, there is no denying that. However, in 2018 he has looked like a new player in the secondary.
Fans may be thinking I am crazy but check out the tweet below if you don’t believe me:
Though the defense has struggled as a whole, Davis has been much better this season.

His overall grade of 78.7 ranks first on the defense and ninth among NFL safeties with at least 100 defensive snaps. https://t.co/KHWlXheGsT
In a year where there is not much to be happy about on defense, Sean Davis is providing somewhat of a bright spot in an otherwise dark time for this defense.
