7. San Francisco 49ers: Devin White, LB LSU

Devin White is one of the most exciting players in the draft. An incredibly talented linebacker, White could immediately make any defense a lot better. He has the size at 6’1” 240 Ibs and the speed. A tackling machine he racked up 133 combined tackles last year in his first season as a full-time starter. White could continue to climb draft boards if he builds on his 44 tackles so far this season. White, along with Rueben Foster could form the best pair of linebackers in the NFL.

8. New York Giants: Justin Herbert, QB Oregon

This year was supposed to be the Giants return to contention. They drafted Saquon Barkley early in the first round to help quarterback Eli Manning and the offense. It has not been enough, however. They passed on taking their potential franchise quarterback of the future last season but it is becoming clear they need to find their guy. In this draft, every team ahead of the Giants thinks they have found their franchise QB. That means the Giants have their choice of the group at number eight.
