Pittsburgh Steelers: Five players who stood out against Cincinnati
Antonio Brown
Yeah, that WiFi connection sure seems to be strong for the second week in a row.
While Brown was kept pretty quiet in the first half, all it took was a bit of separation to show that AB still dangerous as ever, especially after the catch. He hauled in a big 48-yard catch and run that helped the Steelers extend their lead at the time to 20-14.
After Cincinnati went ahead 21-20, the Steelers drove down the field and Big Ben read a heavy blitz from the Bengals and hit Brown on a quick little slant. Brown’s open field speed proved to be of great value as he took it the distance.
Part of the reason the Steelers’ offense has struggle this season has been because of a lack of connection between Ben and AB, which is a bit unusual. This doesn’t seem to be the case anymore, now that they have continued to make big plays in big spots.
