James Conner

James Conner continues to prove the doubters wrong. The second-year running back notched his third 100-yard game of the season, totaling 111 yards on 19 carries for two touchdowns.

Conner ran with poise, patience, and loads of strength today. He broke many tackles, including a pretty good shedding of a Vontaze Burfict tackle attempt. Conner is looking more and more comfortable in the Steelers’ offense as the season progresses.

With the rumor of Le’Veon Bell’s return during the Steelers’ bye week, it is unknown what kind of a workload split Conner will get. Overall though, he has shown to be a more-than-capable running back in this offense. His rushing ability is evident, but his pass-catching and pass protection ability has stood out.
