The Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Cincinnati to take on the AFC North leading Bengals. Here’s how to watch.
In a game of equal importance for both teams, but for different reasons, the Steelers and Bengals reunite in Cincy to compete for the AFC North. As the Bengals look to defend their lead, the Steelers look to win their first divisional game of the season.
Coming off a big win over the Atlanta Falcons, the Steelers are hoping to carry all momentum into Week 6. Both the offense and defense found their groove as they routed their first home victory of the 2018 season. Now, they’ll look to claim their second road win.
A win over the Bengals won’t come easy. The defense, especially the secondary, is going to need to be in top shape to compete with Cincinnati’s wide receiving core. As A.J. Green and Joe Haden battle it out, the rest of the Pittsburgh defensive backfield will have their hands full with John Ross and Tyler Boyd.
On offense, Pittsburgh is hoping to continue their success through the air. Antonio Brown finally got his connection with Ben Roethlisberger going in last week’s win. Now, they just want to keep it going.
James Conner also comes off a strong week on the ground. With Le’Veon Bell’s return coming quick, Conner is hoping to claim his role in this offense, even with the Pro Bowl running back alongside him. Another impact performance in Cincy will go well in his favor as the team approaches their bye week.
It’ll be another AFC North classic as both teams head into action at 1pm EST. Only six weeks into the season, this game can be a deciding factor when the divisional title is on the line later in the season.
