Team Discipline – Stock: Down

The entire team gets a stock down in discipline. From players to coaches, the team’s inability to get through a game without being flagged a boat load is unacceptable.

The Steelers are the most penalized team in the league. They average 9.7 penalties per game and 88 penalty yards per game.

This is not a good look for a team trying to contend for a championship. The special teams account for many of the penalties whether it be illegal formation or holding.

Danny Smith and Mike Tomlin need to use this bye week to get the penalties and team discipline in control.

The Steelers have their bye this week before hosting the Browns in a week one rematch. They will look to avenge the tie and win back to back AFC North match ups to stay in the hunt.
