25. Oakland Raiders (from Chicago Bears): Kaden Smith, TE Stanford
The Oakland Raiders need to do something to boost their offense, and without any receivers left on the board warranting a selection at number twenty-five, they get a tight end who can be a weapon in the passing game for Derek Carr. Smith has all the physical tools and would immediately be a strong safety net over the middle for a struggling quarterback. They brought in Jared Cook to fill that role but Smith would be an immediate upgrade over the aging tight end.
26. Los Angeles Chargers: Dalton Risner, OL Kansas State
The LA Chargers have been a popular pick to draft a quarterback this season. But so far this season Phillip Rivers has shown no signs of aging. With Dalton Risner, they get a versatile offensive lineman capable of playing all over the line. He plays right tackle at Kansas State but has been used all over. He is very athletic for a big guy, K-State even has him pull around the left side from right tackle. The Kansas State O-Line had been poor to start the season but has turned it around and been dominant the last two weeks. That all starts with their best player, Risner.
