7. Denver Broncos: Drew Lock, QB Missouri

Drew Lock got off to a good start to the season but has not played particularly well in the past few weeks. Lock is falling on a lot of peoples’ draft boards, but this week I will continue to bet on his upside. Similar to Josh Allen in last years draft, Lock has the physical tools to be a star but needs to refine his game. The Broncos have a veteran option in Case Keenum who would allow Lock to sit for a year or two and learn, making Denver an attractive destination for him.

8. Houston Texans: “Greedy” Williams, CB LSU

The Houston Texans came into the season with lofty expectations. The first three games made a lot of people rethink their evaluation. Since then the Texans have won three in a row and are looking like a playoff team again. The Texans defense relies very heavily on their outstanding pass rush, however, their secondary is not fantastic. If the best defensive back in the draft falls to them that’s an opportunity the team would have to jump on.
