AFC North Power Rankings: Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers continue to climb
By Alex Fasano
The AFC North suffered a terrible Week 7, as all teams playing went home with a loss. Now, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens compete for more than first in the division.
“It ain’t easy, being a Brownie”. These poor Cleveland Browns, just when you think they have it all, it slowly comes crashing down. Don’t’ get me wrong, the Browns have most of the pieces to be a winning team over the next few years. However, the time is now, and right now, the Browns continue to lose. Another overtime game for this team (4) as they now go 1-2-1 in those games this season. Chandler Catanzaro can never walk through Cleveland again, nailing a 59-yard field goal, in overtime, to beat the Browns 26-23. The craziest thing to take away from all of this, the Browns played great!
Baker Mayfield went for 215 yards and two scores, while Jarvis Landry has 97 yards on 10 catches, and a score. Nick Chubb, in his first start goes for 80 yards on 13 carries with a touchdown. These stats are pretty good, for Browns standards. However, this is the NFL, and literally anything can happen. Jameis Winston threw for over 300 yards, two interception, but no touchdowns. Mike Evans went over 100 yards but didn’t score. The Browns forced four turnovers, yes, FOUR turnovers, while the Bucs had one. The Browns should’ve won this game, but somehow, someway they still manage to let it slip through their fingers. Cleveland travels to Heinz Field to meet the surging Steelers in a must-win scenario if they want to get anywhere near a winning season in 2018.
