5-3. Previous: 3rd. Cincinnati Bengals. 2. team. 56.

The Bengals sit in 2nd this week, thanks to good defense and the leg of Randy Bullock. “Good defense” may seem like a stretch considering they allowed over 500 total yards, but recording six sacks and four turnovers has to count for something. Yes, they allowed FitzMagic to do his thing and nearly beat them, but a win is a win and the Bengals took care of the Bucs, 37-34. Andy Dalton did his part, throwing for 280 yards and 2 scores.

The real star was Joe Mixon, rushing for 123 yards on 23 carries, with two scores as well. Cincinnati managed a victory, but the journey is not yet over.  Entering the Bye Week in second place, the Bengals will be sure to watch their division rival Steelers and Ravens go at it for division supremacy. However, for the Bengals, hosting the Saints and visiting the Ravens in back to back weeks does sound pretty intimidating.
