Offensive Line

The Steelers’ offensive line has been playing fantastic for the past few games, but they were superb today.

Minus a couple of poorly-timed penalties, the offensive line protected Big Ben very well, only giving up one sack on the game, which came at the end and was pretty much a concession by Ben himself. They also constantly cleared paths for James Conner to run the ball, which the team just didn’t establish the last time they played the Ravens.

Even with Marcus Gilbert on the sidelines with an injury, the five-man unit up front continued to perform at an elite level against an elite defense. This is a huge boost for the team going forward, knowing that this is a unit that can dominate the line of scrimmage against just about anyone. Nothing happens on the offense without these guys clearing a path. They did just that on Sunday.
