The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Carolina Panthers in a short week, and could be without two key players in their Week 10 matchup.

Here is a look at the projected inactives for the Steelers Thursday Night game versus the Carolina Panthers.

Dan McCullers – McCullers hasn’t practiced all week and has an ankle injury. With a short week, it is hard to recover from a Sunday game. McCullers is listed as out for the Panthers game and his spot will be backed up by Tyson Alualu and LT Walton who will dress this week.

Marcus Gilbert – His knee injury is lingering and so he will be out again this week. He will be replaced by Matt Feiler again who has filled in well for him.

Mason Rudolph – Ben has been held out of practice with his finger injury and that is partially due to Ben’s age and the want to preserve him. Mason Rudolph will be the number three this week and after Josh Dobbs play, he might be the number three for a while.

Zach Banner – The Steelers will be mostly healthy on the offensive line and thus won’t need to use the developing Zach Banner.

Marcus Allen – Allen has been inactive all season and I expect that to continue this week.

Brian Allen – Allen will probably be scratched again this week as Heyward-Bey is healthy and they have five cornerbacks ahead of him.

Justin Hunter – It seems that he is in weekly competition with James Washington for a helmet and the number three receiver job. I give the edge to Washington with more upside.

Next. James Conner's biggest test is tonight. dark

A short week could keep a number of players on the sidelines. This team is rolling, though, and should be able to keep their winning streak alive, even without Gilbert of McCullers. Keep up with all gameday coverage at Still Curtain.
