The Offense has Talent All Over

So the score kind of indicates this. However, a year ago Brown would have half the receiving yards and Bell would have half the total yards. More often than not, their wouldn’t have been a tight end with a catch or another back to even touch the field, maybe Nix but strictly to block. On Thursday, 9 players caught the ball, 5 players got positive rushing yards, and 6 players got into the redzone.

By the end of the game, James Conner and Ben Roethlisberger weren’t even playing. This game could have gotten way out of hand, even more than it was. There was just no player or position group you could focus on. Just a year ago, this was a team of stars. There were a few players on top and the rest were in strictly supporting roles. As this season progresses, you never know who is going to have a great game or a great play, and the offense is more dangerous for it.
