25. Minnesota Vikings: Dalton Risner, OL Kansas State
The offensive line has been an issue for a while in Minnesota. They have patched together a serviceable unit but it is time that they start fixing things for the long term. Dalton Risner plays right tackle at K-State but can play all over the offensive line. He has top-notch athleticism, which is displayed by the Wildcats willingness to pull him from right tackle around the left side. He is a tremendous leader and should be a starter for the Vikings somewhere on their O-line for a lot of years.
26. Los Angeles Chargers: Te’Von Coney, LB Notre Dame
The Chargers could look at a quarterback at this point in the draft to take a flyer on, but there isn’t one available that would be worth the selection. As a result, I have the Chargers looking best player available and taking a guy with athleticism to spare and good instincts. Coney fits the mold of a modern linebacker and is a player that probably should go higher than 26 if it wasn’t for some off the field concerns.
