Todd Davis
Well, we’re sticking with defense this week.
The Broncos have a great set of linebackers, and Todd Davis is another great piece of it. Davis leads the team in tackles, he’s good against the run, but he’s also a fantastic coverage linebacker. Davis has seven recorded passes defended, which is only two less than Bradley Roby’s nine and Chris Harris Jr.’s eight.
Davis has an all-around game that can spell trouble for the Steelers’ offense. The Steelers struggled to run against Jacksonville last week and Davis could be there catalyst in stopping Conner’s run game. He could also drop back in underneath coverages that Big Ben can sometimes not see and make plays in coverage.
If Denver is aggressive and attacks the Steelers head on, Davis could be a great asset in defending the short, quick passes that Ben Roethlisberger can become reliant on, especially when the offense is stagnant. Davis is a potential huge threat for the Steelers this Sunday.
