The Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Denver to take on the Broncos – a team will plenty of fantasy value late in the season.

The Broncos host the visiting Steelers on a six-game win streak. This will pit two teams against each other with much different records but if you look a little deeper the Broncos are a much better team than their record indicates.

The 4-6 Broncos have lost four games by seven or fewer points. They have played the best teams in the NFL and nearly beat them.

The Steelers have one of the best records on the road, but Denver is always a difficult place to play so this should be a very competitive game.

If you are like me and have multiple fantasy football teams, you will want to know who to start and sit for Sunday’s game. Here is my start and sit recommendations for the Broncos.

Start

Philip Lindsey – One of my favorite stories this year. An undrafted FA that has been a starter for his team and also an RB1 for fantasy. He is getting the majority of the touches and he scored 26 points in PPR scoring last week. The Steelers have been great against the run but with the Broncos at home and Lindsey’s dual-threat ability, I still think he is a must start.

Emmanuel Sanders – His PPR points are down the last 3 games but he is the #1 WR for the Broncos and gets the highest target share. I would start him as my WR 2 with upside as a WR1.

Courtland Sutton – The rookie moved into the WR 2 spot when Demaryius Thomas was traded. So far, it has not increased his targets much but I think his breakout is coming. His floor is high so consider him a WR3 with upside. He is almost a lock to score at least 8 PPR points.

Sit

Case Keenum – Is scoring on the QB2 level. He is not throwing many TD’s this year and three is this seasons high. There are four games he failed to throw a touchdown.
Royce Freeman-He does have a few games over 10 carries but he offers almost nothing as a pass catcher. He has scored in double digits only three times this year in PPR scoring. If Lindsay is playing, keep Freeman on your bench. He may not even be rostered in your league.

Jeff Heuerman – In only 3 games Heuerman has more than 3 receptions and has scored only twice on the season. The TE position is so bad this year that he might be an OK option if you are desperate. I am ranking him as a tight end two this week.

Broncos Defense – The Steelers have one of the best offenses in the NFL this year. The dominate Broncos D is not the same as in the past. They are still a good unit, I would not expect a lot of fantasy points from them this week.

The Broncos will be ready to play and have experience with teams on long win streaks. They stopped the Chargers run last week at 6 games. Will the Steelers get their seventh straight win or will the Broncos ruin it for another team? We will find out this Sunday.
