23. Washington Redskins: A.J. Brown, WR Mississippi

The Washington Redskins receiving corps needs a boost as it looks more and more like Josh Doctson has entered draft bust territory. The Redskins have question marks at quarterback after Alex Smith suffered a severe injury that could lead him towards contemplating retirement. One thing that is certain, no matter who is under center is that they need to provide him with more help. A.J. Brown was a consensus first-round pick to start the season but fell as D.K. Metcalf lead the receiving corps. Metcalf has since sustained a season-ending injury and Brown has made the most of the opportunity to once again rise up boards, and enter the first round discussion.

24. Houston Texans: Yodny Cajuste, OT West Virginia

The selection of Cajuste in the first round might be a bit of a reach here, but that is how desperate of a need offensive line is for the Texans. They need to add cornerbacks to a secondary that doesn’t scare anyone, but their first concern should be their young quarterback and his success. I am a big fan of the receivers available for Deshaun Watson, but his protection leaves a lot to be desired especially for a player with a history of serious injuries. Building the offensive line should be the Texans primary focus this offseason.
