2019 NFL Mock Draft: New names break into the top 10
17. Oakland Raiders (from Dallas Cowboys): Jachai Polite, EDGE Florida
The Oakland Raiders pass rush has been abysmal so far this season recording only nine sacks as a team, while only five teams have less than twenty. Polite is a dominant athlete with outstanding speed off of the edge. Once he puts everything together with NFL coaching he could be a dominant rusher off the edge. It is highly unlikely that he is ever the MVP caliber player that Khalil Mack was for the Raiders, but he could immediately help raise Oakland’s pass rush out of the cellar.
18. Tennessee Titans: Derrick Brown, DT Auburn
The Tennessee Titans have exhausted a lot of resources trying to help quarterback Marcus Mariota. They need to add some pieces to their defense as well. Like many players going early in this draft, Brown could use some development and NFL coaching but he has all of the physical tools to go high in the first round.
