The loss “hangover”

Week 1 a loss could certainly lead to multiple poor performances. We watched as the Steelers took longer than expected to get over the tie in Cleveland and finally begin their season. But Week 12 isn’t a week that drags for the rest of the year.

Saying Pittsburgh is going to be effected by the “hangover” of a loss this late in the year is just wrong. If riding the highs and lows was that drastic at this point in the season they would’ve come into Denver and smoked the Broncos.

There is no such thing as struggles from a loss after the midway point. Every week is a clean slate and Pittsburgh isn’t even concerned with their Week 12 performance. All they care about is the Chargers and only the Chargers.
