Put pressure on Phillip Rivers

The Steelers forgot they have one of the league’s best pass rushes, last week. Case Keenum could’ve opened a lemonade stand in the backfield every time he went to drop back. If Pittsburgh gives Phillip Rivers that much time, they might as well not show up.

They’re dealing with one of the league’s hottest players. Allowing him to throw the ball comfortably is going to lead to another nearly perfect performance.

Instead, they need to use their pass rush. Let T.J. Watt and Cameron Heyward find the quarterback. Bring blitz packages and see if putting some pressure on Rivers can disrupt his timing. If they slow down the passing game the Chargers are going to have a much harder time scoring points.
