Julian Edelman

When it comes to picking a third in this list, Josh Gordon seems like a good candidate, but Joe Haden will more than likely get the majority of that responsibility.

Edelman on the other hand, lines up in the slot more often than not, and this is where the Steelers will have a problem. Mike Hilton has been arguably the Steelers’ best cornerback in 2018, but has played poorly recently. So much so, that guys like Cam Sutton and Artie Burns are getting first-team looks in practice this week.

I’m not even going to begin to describe how bad this will turn up if a guy like Artie Burns has Julian Edelman duty this week. The bottom line is, where there was some level of consistency in the Steelers poor secondary, there is now even less. It hurts, especially this week, because the Steelers are hosting a really good slot receiver in Edelman.

Edelman has had solid games against Pittsburgh in the past. He has good hands and runs routes extremely well. He also has a great rapport with Tom Brady and that just makes it even worse for the Steelers.
