Pass Rush

The Steelers’ pass rush has playmakers but without the secondary doing their job, finding the quarterback seems to happen less and less. Tom Brady isn’t going to hold the ball long, meaning TJ Watt, Cameron Heyward and the rest of the front seven need to make plays, quick.

Putting pressure on Brady goes a long way in beating the Patriots. Disrupt the passing game and you throw off their entire game plan. Pittsburgh would love to put the game in the hands of James White and Sony Michel.

The pass rush needs to find success again before the postseason. They were a major contributor in the team’s winning streak but has since been almost a non-factor. Getting to Brady doesn’t guarantee a win, but it certainly favors the Steelers when New England needs to find offense outside of their quarterback.
