Joe Haden

Joe Haden has been great for the Steelers all season and has arguably been their most consistent cornerback. Tonight, he was nothing short of spectacular.

Haden led the team with 12 tackles (8 solo). He also had two passes defended and made one of the biggest plays of the game with a red zone interception of Tom Brady in the 4th quarter.

The Steelers have long needed a shut down corner, and Haden provided that tonight. He didn’t have one particular assignment in this game, but whoever he was on did not have much room to do anything. And for a defense that has struggled at forcing turnovers, he made a great play in a pivotal moment. That’s what great players do.
