27. Houston Texans: Jawaan Taylor, OT Florida

The Houston Texans have allowed 46 sacks this season, good for second-most in the league. They have been able to win games despite the rate at which Deshaun Watson is being pressured, but they need to do a better job of protecting their young quarterback. By drafting Jawaan Taylor they’re betting on his athleticism and strong hands to make up for less than ideal arm length.

28. Los Angeles Chargers: Derrick Brown, DT Auburn

The Los Angeles Chargers have one of the best edge defender pairs in the NFL but they need to improve up the middle of the defense. They have big-time playmakers on both sides of the ball and should look for the best possible prospect when on the board. Derrick Brown is a raw prospect and might take a year to reach his full potential, but he is athletically gifted enough to contribute up front in year one.
