29. New England Patriots: Jeffery Simmons, DT Mississippi State

The New England Patriots are known for taking the best player available approach in the draft and this year shouldn’t be any different. They need to retool there defensive front seven as well and Jeffery Simmons is a good start. His combination of size, speed and quickness should be enticing for coaches of any scheme and would generally lead to projections much higher than 29 but he does have off the field concerns stemming from a 2016 arrest.

30. Green Bay Packers (from: New Orleans Saints): A.J. Brown, WR Mississippi

Davante Adams is a good start but the Green Bay Packers no longer have the loaded receiving corps that they had a few years ago. I don’t see them retaining Randall Cobb this offseason either making a receiver a position of concern for the team. A.J. Brown is someone who can play outside or in the slot. He has come on a lot since teammate D.K. Metcalf went down with an injury making him the number one target for Ole Miss.
