31. Kansas City Chiefs: Johnathan Abram, S Mississippi State

Anyone who watches the Chiefs can see that they desperately need both a safety and a run stuffer. Eric Berry has struggled to stay healthy for years and may be looking for a new team this season, and the teams promising pair of middle linebackers have failed to alleviate the Chiefs run-stopping woes. Johnathan Abram could help in both areas. The talented safety can make plays in the secondary but his biggest strength is his run defense. He would be a major upgrade over Daniel Sorenson in the Chiefs box safety role.

32. Los Angeles Rams: Dre’Mont Jones, DT Ohio State

The Los Angeles Rams are in a position that allows them to take the best player left on the board. The Rams have a great pair of defensive tackles this season with Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh. However, Suh is only in L.A. on a one year deal and the Rams should look for a younger cheaper option alongside Donald. A solid run stopper, Jones isn’t the pass rusher that some in this class are but that’s not as big of a deal playing beside possibly the best interior pass rusher in the NFL in Aaron Donald.
