Drew Brees

There are not enough good things to be said about Drew Brees. He is the NFL’s all-time leading passer, one of the most overlooked quarterbacks of his generation, and is one of the most generous athletes off the field.

Even at age 39, Drew Brees is still a gigantic threat week in and week out. He still throws a highly accurate pass and his ability to read opposing defenses is elite. He also has a long-standing relationship with head coach Sean Payton, so the two are almost always on the same page in terms of running the Saints offense.

Brees is having an amazing season statistically, completing almost 75% of his passes and throwing 31 touchdowns to only five interceptions. His yards aren’t quite what they used to be in recent years, but that is attributed to the Saints being a bit more balanced than they have been in years past.

Brees has always had some type of weapons throughout his career, but recently it seems the talent level that accompanies him has gone up. The future Hall-of-Famer has a dual-threat back behind him, one of which is a great threat this Sunday.
