Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas is having a career year in 2018. He has already set career-highs in receptions and yards and is one touchdown shy of tying his career-high of nine.

Thomas has been Brees’ primary target in 2018. He’s getting the most attention by opposing defenses and is still producing high numbers. As long as Thomas continues to be this reliable, the Brees/Thomas combo is one of the most dangerous in the league. The quarterback/receiver combo have already eclipsed the century mark together. As the Saints look to lock up home field advantage in the NFC, they’ll try to rely on it more.

Steelers’ cornerback Joe Haden is coming off of a massive game against the Patriots and hopefully will get the majority, if not all of the responsibility of covering Thomas. This might be the Steelers only chance of shutting down the receiver that a lot of teams can’t seem to do. Haden could be the key to the Steelers eliminating a huge threat on this Saints offense.
