The Pittsburgh Steelers head into the final week of the season needing help to get into the postseason, but first, they have to take care of the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Steelers’ playoff chances rely on a victory in Heinz Field on Sunday and for Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns to upset the Baltimore Ravens. The Browns do have something to play for, despite being disqualified from postseason play. If the Browns win, they will finish 8-7-1, just one year removed from an 0-16 campaign, which is a great turnaround for a franchise that has been the laughing stock of the NFL since they were brought back to the NFL in 1999.

But the Steelers can’t control what happens in Baltimore. They can only control what they do with the opponent in front of them. The Steelers are currently 14.5-point favorites in the season finale, but if we’ve learned anything from the 2018 Steelers, we know that no game is ever an automatic win.

Cincinnati is has been bitten by the injury bug this year, including losing franchise cornerstones Andy Dalton and A.J. Green to season-ending injuries. Despite the injuries, the Steelers still have some pieces to gameplan against if they want to have any chance of a postseason berth.
