Tyler Boyd

With A.J. Green out, Tyler Boyd has become the primary target in Cincinnati. His explosive athleticism, sure hands, and good route-running makes him a viable threat against any defense in the NFL.

The last time the Bengals and Steelers met, Boyd hauled in two touchdown catches on 62 yards receiving. With so much attention going to Green, Boyd fell under Artie Burns’ responsibility for most of the game, with Boyd getting the better of the exchange.

With Green now out, Joe Haden will more than likely get most of the Boyd coverage duties, so that is in more trustworthy hands, but it cannot go unnoted that Boyd is a major threat. Fans of Pittsburgh sports know about Boyd going all the way back to his high school days in the Pittsburgh area and of course his time as a Pitt Panther.

Boyd has become the main focus of the passing game and Cincinnati will utilize him the best they possibly can to ruin the Steelers’ playoff chances for sure.
