Joe Mixon

Joe Mixon has become a really good NFL running back. His ceiling is still high, where if the Bengals can ever improve their offensive line, Mixon might have a shot at winning a rushing title.

Mixon has turned in his first career 1,000-yard season in 2018, which is impressive factoring in how bad their offensive line is and losing Dalton and Green for a huge chunk of the season. While the Steelers have been pretty solid against the run this season, Mixon can still be a threat if the Steelers focus too much on the athleticism the Bengals have on the perimeter.

Mixon is also a decent pass-catcher as well, so expect the Bengals to get him involved in that portion of their gameplan. The Steelers are an aggressive defense at the line of scrimmage and the Bengals will try to get Mixon in open space behind the Steelers defensive front.

The Steelers have to limit the amount of time Mixon gets into open space. If they can’t, it will be a big day for the Cincinnati running back.
