The Pittsburgh Steelers’ season is on the line and even with a win, nothing is guaranteed. If their year does come to an end in Week 17, these five players may have finished their run in Pittsburgh.

If the season does end, these players may be taking off a Steelers uniform for the last time. It’s never easy to see players leave, but after successful runs in Pittsburgh, their time to move on may be coming soon.

Ramon Foster

Ramon Foster is playing on a contract year and is certainly deserving of a new deal. However, the 32-year-old will be looking to get paid a healthy sum after the season and the Steelers may not be willing to hand him the money.

With BJ Finney proving he’s a capable replacement and a much cheaper option. The Steelers don’t want to lose an offensive lineman when the unit is playing this well, but if Foster isn’t looking to give his team a discount in price he may find himself in a new uniform.

It won’t be easy to adjust next season, but Finney is one player this team would feel confident in handing the ropes to. Foster will find a new home somewhere, one with a pretty good paycheck. He may not have the chemistry he has now, but he’ll find success.

For the Steelers, they won’t be too worried about losing him. They may try and keep him around once they offseason approaches but unless something drastic changes in price chances are he’s playing somewhere new in 2019.
