Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns injury report: Cleveland losing major name
The Pittsburgh Steelers’ playoff hopes sit in the hands of the Cleveland Browns, who take on the Baltimore Ravens with a beat up roster in Week 17.
It’s going to take some help for the Steelers to find their way into the postseason in 2018. After losing to the Saints in Week 16, they find themselves hoping for one more chance to prove themselves come the postseason.
The Browns will take on the Ravens one final time to help their AFC North rival. However, they’ll be without one of their biggest stars as they take on Baltimore. They’ll also be without a respected offensive lineman, a huge loss to Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb in the backfield.
For Baltimore, they have a fairly healthy squad heading into their final game. Every member of their 53-man roster attended their final practice, meaning it’ll be a full team for the Ravens in their final regular season game.
Injury Report:
Cleveland
Out: CB Denzel Ward (concussion)
Questionable: C JC Tretter (ankle)
Baltimore
Out: None.
Questionable: WR John Brown (hamstring), DB Anthony Levine (toe/ankle), G Alex Lewis (shoulder), OLB Terrell Suggs (hamstring), CB Tavon Young (groin)
Luckily, Lamar Jackson hasn’t found his stride in the passing game yet, so losing Denzel Ward isn’t a big of a hit as it would be in most matchups. Still, not having a playmaker on defense will certainly impact this game.
Baltimore’s questionables aren’t expected to miss this week, especially with so much on the line. Terrell Suggs and John Brown, along with almost all other players listed, will be needed for this team to continue their winning streak.
With so much on the line the Steelers were hoping to see a more favorable matchup between the Ravens and Browns. But, they’ll take what’s handed to them and hope to find themselves with a Week 17 miracle in 2018.
