Earl Thomas

A veteran who can play in coverage and in the run, who’s a future Hall of Famer and part of the best secondary the NFL has seen in recent years, Earl Thomas would change the Steelers. If he can stay healthy, which is more of a concern as he enters his 30’s, Thomas could be the superstar this defense has been searching for.

Thomas is worth a pretty penny, but only if he’s looking for it. Depending on who calls, he could be looking to make an impact and earn a fair pay check. Pittsburgh will need to offer something significant, but Thomas’ age and coming off an injury should help their budget in this signing.

Steelers fans would love this move. Thomas is one of the best of his era and to come to a city like Pittsburgh, he’d fit in perfectly. With Davis and Edmunds underneath him, he’d be a playmaker and a teacher.
