Adrian Phillips

Adrian Phillips earned the starting job late in the season and played well. In the Chargers’ playoff win over the Ravens he seemed to be everywhere, earning plenty of attention as he heads into free agency looking to earn a chance at a starting role.

In Pittsburgh, he’d get a chance at playing alongside Terrell Edmunds and work interchangeably. The two young safeties would work well together, both being a combination of coverage and run support.

Phillips would be a bargain compared to the rest of this list. He doesn’t have the resume to ask for a lot of money and only starting a few games in 2018 will benefit those trying to sign him. But just because he isn’t a Pro Bowler doesn’t mean he isn’t an impact player for the Steelers.
