The 2019 NFL Draft is beginning to make headlines as we move closer to selecting the next generation of pro talent.

1. Arizona Cardinals: Nick Bosa, DE Ohio State

There have been whispers recently that the Arizona Cardinals’ new staff could consider Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray, but I don’t see that happening at the top of the draft, it would be more likely in my opinion if the Cardinals traded up into the back end of the first round later in the night. Here I have them taking the best player available in Ohio State’s Nick Bosa, the best edge rusher in this class, giving them a cornerstone player to rebuild their defense around.

2. San Francisco 49ers: Andraez “Greedy” Williams, CB LSU

The top of the NFL draft is absolutely loaded with talented defensive lineman but with three former top picks up front I see the San Francisco 49ers looking in another direction. They could look towards one of the top true edge rushers in the class, but I see “Greedy” Williams as one a much better prospect than any of the edge rushers left on the board.

3. New York Jets: Jonah Williams, OT Alabama

The New York Jets have to help out Sam Darnold in any way they can. They fired coach Todd Bowles in attempt to find the guy to groom their young quarterback. The next step is to surround him with talent. They need to add playmakers around him but there are none worth taking this high. Adding high-quality offensive lineman like Jonah Williams to keep Darnold upright is another necessity.

4. Oakland Raiders: Clelin Ferrell, EDGE Clemson

One thing that has been constant through the majority of mock drafts in the Oakland Raiders using one of their first round picks on an edge rusher. They notched only thirteen sacks, less than half of what the 31st ranked team, the Giants, racked up. Clelin Ferrell won’t replace the impact made by Khalil Mack but he will restore some of the pass rush that Jon Gruden and the Raiders have been missing.
