7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama

The Jacksonville Jaguars are picking this early in the draft because of poor quarterback play, but I see them searching for their solution outside of the draft instead of taking a flyer on a player like Kyler Murray. Outside of quarterback, the Jaguars don’t have a lot of needs. That’s why they can afford to take Quinnen Williams, one of the top players in the draft and easily the top player available.

8. Detroit Lions: Josh Allen, EDGE Kentucky

The Detroit Lions will be thrilled on draft day if Josh Allen falls to them at pick number eight. Their best pass rusher, Ezekiel Ansah, has struggled with injuries and is scheduled to hit free agency this offseason. They desperately need to add another player to get to the quarterback and Josh Allen is the best player available. With 17 sacks this season he has displayed a knack for getting to the quarterback that should carry over to the NFL.
