17. Cleveland Browns: Dexter Lawrence, DT Clemson

I can see the Cleveland Browns looking offense early in this draft in an attempt to load up on talent around quarterback Baker Mayfield, but Dexter Lawrence is hard to pass up for a team that is in the process of adding talent anywhere they can. Lawrence is huge and moves incredibly well for someone well over 300 pounds. He is phenomenal at stuffing gaps and has flashed serviceable pass rush ability.

18. Minnesota Vikings: Jawaan Taylor, OT Florida

The Minnesota Vikings are picking a lot earlier in the draft then they expected to be after they signed Kirk Cousins to a massive deal in free agency. A large portion of the struggles can be blamed on a running game that wasn’t nearly as good as it was in 2017, gaining nearly 500 yards less and falling to the bottom three of the league. Jawaan Taylor would help out immediately. He is an attractive prospect because of his dominant run blocking ability and the versatility to play multiple positions along the offensive line.
