Remove the distractions

It’s not just Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell. The Pittsburgh Steelers need to silence all the noise and become the boring team the Patriots are every season. Until the playoffs, and this year basically the Super Bowl, no one heard a peep from New England. Pittsburgh needs to mimic that.

Brown and Bell are likely gone, giving them a huge head start in stopping the drama. Now, they need to shut Ben up and tell him no public comments about his teammates unless it’s praise. Quarterbacks are leaders and Roethlisberger is a good one, but he’s also causing a lot of unneeded noise in the locker room.

Everyone played a part in this season and everyone needs to make adjustments. If you stop the headlines you’ll see the transition to wins. Bill Belichek has been doing it for years. If the Steelers want to find themselves ahead of the pack in 2019, they’ll learn from their enemy.
