People, including us here at Still Curtain, are pulling quote after quote whenever Antonio Brown talks about other teams or wanting to win. But has anyone asked if he wants to be with the Pittsburgh Steelers?

We’ve heard where he wants to play next season, how he feels about the situation and that he’s “got” Steelers fans when told he needs to return. But throughout all the drama, headlines and questions, no one has asked Antonio Brown if he wants to be a Pittsburgh Steeler.

Disguise it however you’d like, the entire Brown vs Steelers situation is not being handled well by anyone, including the media. People are searching for the most eye-popping AB reactions they can find, but no one is using the conversations with the receiver to ask the simple question – do you still want to be here?

It doesn’t guarantee an answer. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising if Brown beat around the bush and spun his answer in a mysterious way to leave us guessing once again. But until someone asks the question, we can only assume he won’t answer it properly, we don’t truly know.

The headlines are getting somewhat irritating. Fans, the media and the people involved are tired of seeing the stories pop up about quick answers that leave everyone guessing about what he really means. You can choose between two sides of any interview Brown has been involved in, getting us no where and leaving us just as clueless as we were from the beginning.

It’s time to start getting to the bottom of this entire situation. Someone ask Brown if he wants to stay with the Steelers. A simple yes can likely put all of this to end. If AB wants to be in Pittsburgh, chances are the trade talks fade to dust and all the headlines stop.

Stop digging for headlines, Brown will provide plenty on his own. Now is the time to find out the real truth behind his words, and put to end all of the drama Pittsburgh has created. The media may not have started all of this, but they do have a chance to begin ending it. Something everyone is waiting for at this point.
