Tyrell Williams
The third-man in Los Angeles saw his numbers dip in 2018 after cracking the 1,000-yard mark the year before. Now, he’ll hit the market looking to find a new home and revamp his career. Pittsburgh may not give him a ton of money, but they can provide a strong opportunity to work with great athletes and compete as the second-man in the rotation.
It’s a good change of scenery and a quality addition for Pittsburgh. Williams is only 27-years-old and has plenty of football left in him. He’s not worth a monster contract and by the time he is the Steelers won’t need to resign him.
He can find space behind defenders and works well down the field. Roethlisberger will find this guy deep quiet a bit. If he can return to the success he had in 2017, he’s a win-win signing for himself and the Steelers.
Teams thinking about Williams will be the Bills, Titans, Jets, teams like that. Pittsburgh will be one of the only real contenders to reach out to the wideout and if he wants to keep winning he’ll put the Steelers at the top of his list.
