Cody Parkey

Cody Parkey is worth as much as Chris Boswell and struggled almost as much, last season. But just like Boswell, Parkey is worthy of another shot after being released by the Bears. A young kicker with a heavy foot, Parkey has promise and if he finds his confidence again, he’s a valuable option at the position.

After being cut, Parkey’s pay won’t be where it was in the past. He’ll need a contract to get back on his feet before asking for major money again. That could land him in the eyes of Pittsburgh, and if he competes well enough, should make him a contender to land the job.

No one expects Parkey to find himself in Pittsburgh, but if no one else is calling he’ll come compete for a job.
